Introduction to Crochet in the MakerSpace
1:00 PM (America/Denver)
Missoula Public Library
Description:
What could be simpler than a piece of string and a hook? The centuries-old art of crochet can be used to make everything from potholders and scarves, to lace and hyperbolic structures. Come to this series of three classes to get started with this simple, flexible craft. We’ll begin at the beginning with chains and single crochet to make a dishcloth. If time and interest permit, we’ll also touch on several other stitches, and discuss yarn, patterns, and how to keep going. Join us to learn a handcraft that is as simple—or complicated—as you desire, and that proves wellness and mental benefits to boot! Space is limited to 6 participants for this class series and online registration is required. Register online at: http://tinyurl.com/mplintrotocrochet 1:00-2:30PM
