Five Valleys Audubon will explore Maclay Flat to look for new winter arrivals along the Bitterroot River on this 3-hour trip. Meet at the parking lot off Blue Mountain Road. There will be two miles of walking along flat terrain through grasslands and a forested area and along an inland marsh. Anticipated species include Bald Eagle, Clark's Nutcracker, and Red Crossbill, plus species of woodpeckers, nuthatches, waterfowl, and hawks.
