There are more than 300,000 kids in the US diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis (JA). Every fall Montana kids diagnosed with JA attend Camp Limberlimbs to take part in activities designed to help them increase self-confidence, improve arthritis self-management, and develop leadership and communications skills all while making new friends who share similar challenges. This year our theme was "Make Arthritis Extinct." Artwork was done on burlap with acrylic and includes each child's thoughts on what it means to them to have arthritis.
