Missoula author, Josh Slotnick, will read from his new poetry collection, Home Farm (FootHills Publishing; $16.00).

JOSH SLOTNICK is a vegetable farmer. You may know him as the director of the PEAS farm, or as part of Garden City Harvest, or you may have seen him at Farmers' Market on Saturday morning, where he sells for his family's farm, Clark Fork Organics. Josh has been farming in Missoula for 21 years, and he has been teaching in the Environmental Studies program for 17. Josh's energy is not divided between, but blurred among, farming, teaching, and being part of a family. Those crisscrossing activities provide the inspiration for his life, and poems are part of that.
