Want to build a remote control robot? Missoula Public Library's MakerSpace offers "Introduction to Remote-Controlled Robotics," taught by Tyler Lankford, a UM graduate student, FCC-licensed Amateur Extra Class radio operator who has a long-standing interest in computers, electronics and robotics. The Monday evening class is ongoing and runs from 6 to 8 pm through November 17.
This class allows participants to construct projects of interest while learning about data communications, microprocessor programming, and power storage devices, among other things. The class is limited to six participants; those under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and will be counted as one participant.
