Remeber the Extinct Ones Part I and II.

Part One: a medley of songs for the ancestors to bring Peace and Ecological awareness. Performed by the Missoula Kids Choir and Living Rhythms with Hawthorn Flagship students.
Nov 2nd, Festival of the Dead. 5:15pm at the X's

Part Two: performed by the Ecosapien Theatre at Caras Park at 7pm, after the parade. Dance/Theatre written and directed by Penelope Baquero, honoring the extinct species of our Planet and bringing a message of ecological consciousness to the Day of the Dead. Music by Caleb van Gelder, Josh Farmer, and Matthew Nord

Both performances are free.

Remember the Extinct Species is Baquero's latest community Day of the Dead fusion with Ecology and Humanities performance. Since 2010, after the Gulf oil spill she has written and directed three multimedia shows with dozens of performers with the occasion of Day of the Dead.
