Providence Medical Group - Women's Care Center offers Celebrating Women on November 1st. In its 11th year, Celebrating Women is an event that creates opportunities for inspiration, education and most importantly, a celebration for women in Western Montana. This year's event will focus on the theme: Women Embracing Change. The event begins at 6:30pm with a catered reception and then continues with the program portion of the event. Dr. Georgia Milan opens the program portion of the even with a speech on the tremendous change experienced throughout women's lives. Additional speakers are Laura Bender, fitness trainer and meditational specialist, and Maurika Wells of Hospice of Missoula. Laura Bender will talk with us about Self Mastery from the inside, using tools of meditation and exercise to transform our lives and health. Maurika Wells will discuss change and transitions that arise when preparing for end of life. The conclusion of our program ends with Living Art members reading poetry related to change. These readings will remind us of the importance of arts during life transitions. The event is free and open to the public. We hope you can join us for the reception and program.
