The 2015 Wilderness Workshop, held at the University of Montana, will
convene wilderness stewards and advocates from across the country to
turn ideas into action for furthering the merits of the Wilderness Act into
the next 50 years. Attendees will build on the momentum of the 2014
National Wilderness Conference and assist in implementation of the
interagency 2020 Vision document, signed at the Conference.
With an emphasis on deliverable outcomes and tangible products, the fourday
event will engage participants on subjects ranging from on-the-ground
management to communications to capacity through skill-building, handson
learning, best practice and case study analysis, small-group working
sessions, and structured yet participatory discourse.
Join us in Missoula, Montana in October 2015 as we chart the course for
the next 50 years of Wilderness stewardship and management.
