Flavors of the World: Autumn in Korea
6:30 PM (America/Denver)
The Good Food Store
Description:
$25
During the cool months of the fall, street food vendors in Seoul will tempt you with seasonal favorites like roasted chestnuts and Hoddeok, a sweet brown sugar-filled pancake. And in the markets you'll smell fresly harvested mushrooms as they're added to the earthy beef broth soups that the locals will eat at all hours of the day. We're talking foods that fend off the cold and the hunger. Hee Kyeong You, or HK as we fondly refer to this native South Korean chef who now lives in Missoula, will introduce you to these traditional seasonal dishes as she charms you with stories about her homeland. Come taste and learn to prepare authentic Korean recipes under the guidance of one of our most popular guest chefs.
