Sometimes the synchronicity between a show, a cast, and a director is incredibly groovy. And that synchronicity is happening with the Missoula Community Theatre and Mamma Mia! Performances will be presented Oct. 26-Nov. 5 at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts.

In director Michael McGill's concept of the show, he had hoped to find a cast that could not only rock the music with their powerful voices, but that could create a visually-stunning show with their dance skills. And it appears they've hit the "Money, Money Money." "I couldn't be more pleased with the cast and the artistic team for Mamma Mia! Christine Pepin (choreographer) and Scott Koljonen (music director) are knocking it out of the park," said McGill. McGill's enthusiasm for the positive energy of the show and the cast is as infectious as the ABBA music that fills the score of Mamma Mia! McGill admitted with a smile that he finds himself constantly singing the catchy tunes like "Dancing Queen" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You."

The familiar ABBA songs weave through the story of a young woman who is about to be married and is searching for her real father. She hopes he can walk her down the aisle. The sweet vibes of romance and comedy play out when she secretly invites three men from her mother's past to her Greek Island wedding.

Its feel-good spirit makes it easy to see why Mamma Mia! was one of the longest-running shows on Broadway. The tickets for the Missoula Community Theatre production are going faster than disco came and went, so the "Name of the Game" is to get your tickets today!
