Handmade journals are a great way to remember a loved on. Students will be creating small leather journals that they will sew themselves! Adorning the cover is also encouraged. Stamp words on the cover? Burn an image? Adorn with beads? You are invited to journal about what this person means to you, experiences you shared, how your life has changed by knowing them, how they influence your life now, etc. Black pages are also wonderful surfaces for pasting in images, notes written by them, drawing by or of them; the possibilities are endless. The book is a wonderful format to put your feelings all into one place! The journal making workshop will take place at the ZACC, 235 N. 1st St. W. *While all Classes and events are free and open to the public, ZACC requires advance registration so we can prepare adequately.
