About:
KNOWMADS
Eras of time, generations of humans and day-to-day moments are best defined by the soundtracks we cultivate to our lives. Years come and go but music, like nothing else, is able to revive those significant memories. Seattle-based group, KnowMads, consisting of two 23-year-old MCs, have been rapping and making music since their preteen days, and years from now, the sound of their words will solidify our memory.

Inspired by the likes of Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem, Lauryn Hill, Brother Ali, Outkast, Big L, and Tupac Shakur, the KnowMads started making their mark on the Seattle hip hop scene back in high school when members, Tom Pep and Tom Wilson met eachother through freestyle battles at rival football games. They later decided to collaborate and form KnowMads with original producer, Jesse Judd. With two unique and powerful voices and a passion fore true hip hop as well as musical innovation; Pepe and Wilson have learned how to command the ear of listeners. The two MC's bring forth a unique blend of styles, Wilson's hard-hitting punch lines and intricate rhyme schemes combined with Pepe's innovative flows and prolific thoughts make a truly original and Northwest-rooted sound. Their relevant music strikes chords with a younger generation, but their lyrics are wise beyond their years, attracting people of all ages and backgrounds.

At the age of 23, the KnowMads' accomplishments have exceeded those of many their age. They are true and open minded artists who continually seize the opportunity to diversify their portfolio by working with a variety of producers including, Jester (Jesse Judd), Peter Johnson, and Rand Bellar. The KnowMads have shared the stage with artists such as Andre Nickatina, Zion I, OneBeLo, Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against the Machine, Nappy Roots and Seattle Hip-Hop legends such as Blue Scholars, Macklemore, and Vitamin D. They have independently produced 6 albums and 3 mixtapes together, as well as multiple solo albums individually. They have mastered their art form through hundreds of performances around the nation over the years, and as a result have developed a massive faithful independent following that is rapidly expanding out of the Pacific NW to diehard global audiences who unconditionally love and support the KnowMadicFamily movement.

The KnowMads believe that music is a universal tool to create positive change and bring people together in this world. The KnowMads see music as a way to get through the days, and they write their hearts into every lyric in hopes that it will inspire someone else. Their passion for their art is evident in their songs which creates a captivating sound that will be a force in the future of music.

NACHO PICASSO
If you're a fan of Tyler the Creator, then you will love the witty, dark, intellectual flows of innovative Seattle rapper Nacho Picasso. After performing in the late 2000s as a member of the Cloud Nice trio BadAssYellowBoyz, Nacho Picasso found sudden mainstream recognition in 2011 when Pitchfork dubbed his second mixtape one of the best rap debuts of the year. His first solo, 2010's Blunt Raps, went practically unnoticed, but after recording For the Glory with the help of producers Blue Sky Black Death, Eric G., and Raised byy Wolves, critics started heralding Nacho's clever wordplay and his ability to spin everyday topics like reading comic books, wearing tattoos, watching TV, and smoking weed into something fresh. For the Glory landed on several "Best of 2011" lists. Nacho released Lord of the Fly in January 2012, which was followed by Exalted in June that year. He released Black Narcissus in November 2012. He then collaborated with rapper Avatar Darko on Vampsterdam, which was released in June 2013.
In October 2013, Nacho Picasso released the album High & Mighty, which included production from Jake One, Cardiak, and Vitamin D, among others. It was led by the street single "Crime Waves", produced by Swiff-D. In January 2014, he released a 7-track project titled Trances with Wolves, which featured guest appearances by Avatar Darko and Gifted Gab and included production from Jake One and Raised byy Wolves, among others.
In April 2014, Nacho Picasso released a single titled "David Blowie" produced by Raised byy Wolves, which samples David Bowie's "Within You", a song from the soundtrack for Labyrinth.
