Montana Art and Framing presents Barbara Morrison - IMAGINARY WORLDS - paintings and mixed media sculpture. An opening reception will be held First Friday, October 3rd, from 5 - 9pm. The gallery is located between 6th Street and Russell at 709 Ronan Street, Missoula. The works of Barbara Morrison is informed by myth, folklore, and dreams. Many of the pieces are done using traditional fiber techniques from many countries, and using cast-off or recycled materials. She also works in the folk art tradition of brightly colored gouache paintings The small sculptures are a mix of styles and techniques inspired by different cultures and literature.
