Rediscovering the Spark Within
5:30 PM (America/Denver)
University of Montana
Description:
Whether switching jobs or moving, leaving school or retiring, all of us are going through some kind of transition. During this course, we will invite you to look at the current external changes happening in your life and we'll explore how to make the necessary internal shifts to live the life you want by connecting with your needs and values.

We will explore the meaning of empathy and how to give it to ourselves and ask for it from others, how to be more aware and communicate our own feelings and needs, and how to live an authentic life that is in line with our current values.

Using hands-on, experiential learning, this course will use the skills and practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a powerful methodology for self-connection and awareness, to empower you to:

Embrace life's transitions with courage and grace
Reconnect with your life's purpose
Identify what values are important to you, in this stage of your life
Create time for self-connection, regardless of the busyness of your life
