Kevin is a smart kid with a healthy interest in history. Unfortunately, his parents care more about the new toaster on the market than they do about him. His wishes to escape are granted--kind of--when six time-travelling dwarves crash through the wall of his bedroom one night and whisk him off on an adventure that will take him from Napoleonic Europe to Mycenaen Greece and, ultimately, to the far reaches of spacetime itself.
