Re-Purposing Used Clothing
5 weeks, 9/11/16 - 10/16/16 (skip 10/9), Sundays 1:30 - 3:30
Have any great sweaters or jackets that just don't fit anymore? Come learn to repurpose high quality fabrics to make things you can use. We will focus on seeing fabric in a new way by making a baby/child sweater outfit, a woman's shrug, or a skirt out of ill-fitting but beautiful used clothing. We will discuss selecting fabric for it's quality and take a trip together to a thrift store for our materials. This class will be fun and creative with special individual attention to your projects and lots of help with sewing machines, fitting pieces, cutting and designing patterns for those who need it. No sewing experience necessary, some sewing machines available.
