In this intermediate course, practice your photography skills while building a diverse portfolio of your best images. Each week you receive the name of a specific place or event at which to photograph along with a list of different images to create there. During class time, you get information on what to expect at each venue and feedback on your previous week’s images. At the location, I am available to help with camera settings, composition, and ideas. A variety of subjects and locations gives you plenty of chances to practice composition, challenge your creativity, and build a portfolio. By the end of the class, you will have a collection of great images from a variety of places around the Missoula area. A camera with controls for aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and a tripod are recommended. Prerequisite: Familiar with shutter speed, aperture and ISO controls on your camera
