E3 is excited to present for September an exhibit by our own gallery director Lillian Nelson, with her new body of work entitled "What Goes In...". Nelson pieces together re-purposed raw wood materials into assemblages, using them as a unique painting surface, creating a traditional painting with sculptural qualities.In this series, Nelson delves into the psychology and spiritual ramifications of how our outside world affects us, and what we produce with the things which we let into our minds and souls. The series creates an immersive experience with her installation that takes the viewer at times on an incredibly personal journey, and at other times addressing external cultural/social issues.
Opening reception will feature music by The Organism with 20% of sales going to Living Art of Montana. Exhibit runs September 1-30.
