Children ages 8 - 12 are invited to Frenchtown Pond to participate in Frenchtown Fire's first Bike Safety Rodeo! Children will be able to participate in an "on road" obstacle course to learn proper etiquette while riding on the streets such as hand signals and lane usage. They will also learn to to change a flat tire and perform minor mechanical repairs to keep their bicycles running efficiently courtesy of local bicycle mechanics. Mechanics will also be doing free bike safety checks and adjustments.

Free bike helmets and safety lights are provided to participants without proper gear thanks to a grant from AAA Mountain West!
