In honor of the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center is engaging the Missoula community in folding origami peace cranes, the symbol of international peace created by Japanese school children after the war. Come see the 10,000 cranes made for this commemoration displayed against the outside north wall of the museum, and fold a peace crane yourself to add! Paper and instruction provided.
