Artist Statement:
Heroinemade began in Missoula shortly after the birth of my son. I had a small collection of poppy seed heads that I inexplicably felt attached to and time on my hands that I was not able to spend on my pre-baby hobbies. I took some wire wrapping classes at Bathing Beauties Beads and started following my hunch that poppy seed heads could be made into earrings. I was right. 3 years later I have made countless pairs of very differing earrings and also started making necklaces for people out of stones and other objects that I or they have found.
