The Kilted Man, Matthew Gurnsey, delights audiences of all age groups with his rousing performances of traditional Irish and Scottish music. His performance, as part of MPL’s Summer Reading Program, will feature the program “Instrument and Music Education,” which is an interactive musical journey that will explore the sounds and origins of many of his ancient and unique instruments such as the Bowed Psaltery, Concertina, and the Bodhran. For each instrument, he leads a discussion, answers questions, and demonstrates its attributes and features. Meets in the Large Meeting Room. 6:30 PM
