This dynamic five-week class is the perfect introduction and further discovery into the world of relief printing! You will learn how to prepare, carve, and print a relief block. The various materials and tools available will be explored, along with the history of the craft. Throughout the course more advanced techniques will be discovered such as multiple color prints. No experience necessary!

The ZACC will provide the use of carving tools, tracing paper, acrylic paint and B&W ink for the whole 5 weeks, plus everything you will need for the first class including paper, and a 3 by 3 in block. After use of ZACC materials, students will be responsible for paper, colored ink and blocks.
