Grand Opening! Description:
The National Museum of Forest Service History is Opening! Please Join Us, Montana dignitaries and other guests for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, followed by cake and coffee. Located one mile west of the Missoula Airport, our beautiful 36-acre campus includes a restored, historic Ranger's Cabin that serves as Visitors Center and hostsinteractive exhibits; a replica of a "L-4" Fire Lookout Tower built for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the Washington, D.C. mall; and a winding interpretive Forest Discovery Trail with interpretive signage and activities for K-12 students and visitors alike.
