Description:
Shanta Nimbark Sacharoff, Author of Cooking Together: A Vegetarian Co-op Cookbook will read from her book to discuss the importance of sharing food and food preparation followed by a food demonstration. Shanta will show some herbs & spices and discuss the importance of their use in various cuisines. We will learn how to make a homemade chutney and Daal chowder with salsa, an Indian soup with salsa and fresh corn.
