Description:
Join two outstanding scholars for an intimate look at the exhibition "From Flower Cloth to Story Cloth: Hmong Textiles in the MAM Collection." Miller previously co-curated a major exhibition of Hmong textiles for MAM in the 1990s and donated her personal collection of Hmong textiles in 2011, many of which are included in the exhibition. Morrison is the renowned author of "Hog's Exit: Jerry Daniels, the Hmong, and the CIA." Both were instrumental to organizing the current exhibition and programs.
Our Saturday events are an opportunity to connect with artists and discuss contemporary art while enjoying coffee generously provided by Black Coffee Roasting Company. These events are free and open to the public from 11 AM to 12 PM on Saturday mornings.
