Art n' Arthropods Summer Camp at the Insectarium
9:00 AM (America/Denver)
Missoula Insectarium
Description:
Who says that art and science can't mix? This is a camp for anyone who wants to explore the world of arthropods from a creative point of view. Young artists, scientists and bug enthusiasts alike will love this camp. June is a great time to observe the natural world. June's camp theme is Art & Arthropods and we'll be focusing our attentions on the creepy crawly world of arthropods through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). We'll explore how each of these disciplines intersects with the world of our very own Bug Ambassadors! There will be art projects that help us understand how butterfly wings work, calculations to assess our strength compared to that of a Bess Beetle, exoskeleton engineering challenges and much more.

This camp borrows some activities and concepts from our Spring Break Day Camp but is a fun and unique camp that repeat campers from our Spring Break Camp will still enjoy!
