Baroque Music Montana explores the consort and folk repertoire from the British Isles. This concert will pair local baroque violinist Carrie Krause with her esteemed mentor, Ingrid Matthews. Artistic and elegant Ingrid founded the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, and has an extensive award winning discography. The mellow and aristocratic viola da gamba makes its Baroque Music Montana debut, played by Joanna Blendulf, to the accompaniment of lutenist John Lenti. Works by Blow, Matteis, Purcell, Jenkins, Locke, and Neal Gow.
