Volunteer Training: River Recreation Monitoring Description:
River lovers needed! Help the Clark Fork Coalition and partners gather data on who and how many people are using Missoula’s beloved rivers this summer.

The Clark Fork Coalition and partners are looking for volunteers to help gather baseline data of who and how many people are using the river during the hot summer months. This data will be crucial in developing sustainable management plans, building and improving access points, preserving the natural integrity of our river corridor, and more.

We need your help! We’re looking for folks who are able to spend a few hours by the river in the afternoon/evening hours. During their shift, volunteers will be assigned to a local river access (you choose your favorite–we’ll have volunteers at Buckhouse Bridge, Madison Street Footbridge, and Sha-Ron) to count and document river use. This the perfect job for folks who love the river!

Come to the Volunteer Training on June 19th at 6:00pm at the Madison Street Footbridge to learn more about the project and how you can get involved
