Start the summer off bright with a week positively full of glitter and other sun-reflective material! Campers will create both 2-D and 3-D artwork that explore how glitter, glass, and glossy finishes react with light in the space around us. As our projects interact, we will begin to explore properties of light such as the incredible speed in which it travels and artists that already use light as a medium such as Jim Campbell and Yayoi Kusama. We will actively explore the local outdoors around the ZACC to install, perform and encourage positive collaboration. Our exciting work will sparkle, gleam and wink all around us! What a better way to spend the day?
