Join the ZACC in welcoming new and up-coming artist, Mike Huberman. Huberman creates dynamic, realistic space landscapes using spray paint and unique methods. Huberman's artwork captures the pitted, rough, and strange textures one would expect to find on the surface of planets. By working in the rain and applying paint onto water droplets, Huberman allows an element of mystery and chance to come into his work. No matter what the weather, Huberman works outside allowing the elements to constantly affect his artwork. He embrases spontinatity while mastering a precisness in his accuracy of space.
Take a journey through space and attend Huberman's art opening at the ZACC on June 12th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If you're a space cadet and miss the opening, visit Huberman's show during the month of June at the Zootown Arts Community Center. Open hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
