We are proud to announce our speaker for this month's Bugs and Brews, Melissa Maggio-Kassner, who is the MT Biocontrol Project Coordinator. The Montana Biocontrol Coordination Project (MTBCP) is a grassroots effort, established in 2013, with the goal of providing the leadership, coordination, and education necessary to enable land managers across Montana to successfully incorporate biocontrol into their noxious weed management programs. Melissa will address some of the more common misconceptions associated with weed biocontrol and discuss how to properly use biocontrol in combination with other weed management tools. She will also bring a few species of these helpful weed fighting insects to see in person!

Doors open at 6:30, speaker at 7:10. Admission is $5, which includes two complementary drinks. Must be 21 or over for alcohol. Seats are limited, so please arrive as close to 6:30 as possible. We will have to close the doors once we are at capacity. The Insectarium will be open for exploration before the speaker and after, until 8:30.
