MisCon 30 will be held at Holiday Inn in downtown Missoula and is Montana's longest running science fiction convention with 2016 being it's 30th year. This years theme, "From the Ashes" adopts the worldwide phenomenon of the steampunk subculture from a post-apocalyptic viewpoint. Marshall Catch was formed in Evergreen, Montana, in early 2010 by lead singer and frontman Luke Lautaret.
