Today's theme: We’re melting away the ice and snow to bring on the spring rainbows! Come visit EmPower Place today to learn what makes snow melt.

Come experience playful hands-on science activities with your child while you learn together. Have spectrUM Discovery Area educators guide science activities every Tuesday from 10:30-12:30.

EmPower Place is a hands-on family learning center that brings together science exhibits, UM role models, library books, activities, and free snacks. Located at Missoula Food Bank, EmPower Place is a collective impact effort by spectrUM, Missoula Food Bank and Missoula Public Library. EmPower Place is powered by the City of Missoula, the Missoula Redevelopment Agency, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

EmPower Place is open for families to explore M-F 9:30am-1pm and M, T, Th from 5-7pm.

EmPower Place is located at 1720 Wyoming St.
