Food for Thought-Financial Impact of Childcare
4:00 PM (America/Denver)

Food for Thought-Financial Impact of Childcare Description:
Kelly Rosenleaf, Executive Director of Child Care Resources, will discuss the financial impact of placing children in childcare settings. Two-thirds of Montana parents with children under age five are working and their children are being cared for by someone else. The cost of childcare averages $800 a month or more for an infant, and slightly less for a child over age two. Such a large bill can place strain on a family's budget. Learn more about resources available, the impact of this expense on food security, and legislation that effects cost.
This Food for Thought presentation will be held on Thursday, May 19th at 4 PM at Missoula Public Library.
This is the second presentation in the Food for Thought discussion series on Families and Food Security.
