Wrapping up our most dynamic and active season yet is BBD's annual choreographic showcase, SPRINGBOARD. This Bare Bait Dance fan favorite will premiere new original choreography by company members in addition to works by returning Missoula professionals Ashley Griffith and Anna Keller. Presented two consecutive weekends in May, SPRINGBOARD provides audiences with a diverse concert filled with short-form dance pieces featuring a diverse range of Missoula's unique choreographic voices.

HIGHLIGHTS for SPRINGBOARD 2015:

- guest choreographer and Missoula native, Anna Keller, returns after completing her MFA at the University of Arizona, to choreograph a small group piece set on local dancers

- professional dancer, Ashley Griffith, will perform her self-choreographed solo, "Widow's Watch," the story of a woman waiting on a widow's walk for for someone who may or may not return

- new, original dance works by company dancers Kaitlin Kinsley, Claire Christensen, Britt Gaudette, and Liz Martin.

Bare Bait Dance (BBD) is celebrating its forth season of producing professional dance for Montanan audiences. Driven to produce consistently strong contemporary modern dance concerts, BBD continues to give opportunities for Missoula and Western Montana to experience live professional dance from exciting, emerging artists in our region.
