The World Rhythms Concert will feature Balinese Master Musician I Made Lasmawan & Master Dancer Ni Ketut Marni with the UM Jaya Badaya Balinese Gamelan orchestra. The concert is also a kickoff and fund-raiser for a Study Abroad trip to Bali, Indonesia in May/June of this year. Several other World Music ensembles will be featured on the concert including the Brazilian Ensemble, Cuban Drum Ensemble, West African Djembe ensemble and the UM Salsa Band featuring some of the top horn players from the UM Jazz program.
