The Search For Peace is underway and is still searching for interested participants. The deadline for submissions has been extended to April 30th 2012. We are asking students ranging from kindergarten through college, to submit their visions of peace, in an art form of their choosing. This artwork can include but is not limited to photographs, drawings, poems, songs, paintings, and sculptures. Please submit your visions of peace with a completed entry form to the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center by April 30th, we would love to see what you come up with.
Entry forms can be found at jrpc.org or at The Jeannette Rankin Peace Center located in Missoula at 519 S. Higgins. Artwork can be dropped off at any time during store hours at The Jeannette Rankin Peace Center. Coupons for 1$ off Yo Waffle purchases will be given to participants, and you will be honored during the showing at Zootown Brew.
Artwork will be hung at Zootown Brew for a Frist Friday showing on May 4th, 2012. Entertainment will be provided by Lewis and Clark Peace Choir and The Montana Women's Chorus of Missoula. We hope to see you there.
