Bugs and Brews! Description:
We are proud to announce our speaker for this month's Bugs and Brews, Laurie Kerzicnik, who is an Arthropod Diagnostician for Montana State University in Bozeman. She focuses on the identification of urban insects and spiders, education, and outreach across Montana. She previously worked and received her graduate degrees from Colorado State University, and she has worked with spiders for over 20 years. During this talk, Laurie will discuss some common myths and misdiagnoses associated with spiders. She will discuss the spiders that often "take the blame" and common spiders in Montana. She will also bring some of her live pets.

Doors open at 6:30, speaker at 7:10. Admission is $5, which includes two complementary drinks. Must be 21 or over for alcohol. Seats are limited, so please arrive as close to 6:30 as possible. We will have to close the doors once we are at capacity. The Insectarium will be open for exploration before the speaker and after, until 8:30.
