LUNAFEST, a nationally-touring film festival that showcases short films by, for, and about women, is back again with nine exceptional short films, ringing from animation to fictional drama, and covering topics such as women’s health, motherhood, body image, aging, cultural diversity and breaking barriers.In addition to the films, there will be a silent auction. This year 100 percent of the proceeds will go to YWCA Missoula’s GUTS! (Girls Using Their Strengths) girls leadership program, funding scholarships for their Summer Wilderness Adventures for girls ages 9-18. On these trips, girls learn self-confidence, leadership skills, and cooperation in a safe and healthy environment.
