This is the first annual Missoula County Public Schools Student Culinary Competition. Come celebrate culinary education and cheer on your favorite Missoula high school team! Big Sky, Sentinel, and Hellgate High Schools are competing for the top prizes of $1000 for their school's culinary program, their winning recipe featured on the MCPS Food Service lunch menu, and personal chef's kits for the whole team! Second place and Third place will receive $500 and $250 for their culinary programs as well, generously donated by UM Dining. All ages welcome to watch their team compete, learn about Farm to School and sustainable food programs in Missoula, and laugh with Mayor John Engen, the event's emcee!
