Public talk with Geshe Thubten Sherab
7:00 PM
University of Montana
Description:
We all struggle with negative emotions: attachment, anger, disappointment, jealousy, to name just a few. Buddhism holds that these feelings are adventitious - they aren't part of our essential nature and with practice we can lessen and even eliminate them. Join Geshe Thubten Sherab as he outlines techniques we can all use, Buddhist and non-Buddhists alike, to reduce our negativities and promote good mental health for the benefit of ourselves and all sentient beings. This talk is free and open to the public and will take place in the UC 225. This event is made possible and co-hosted by the UM Buddhist Club.
