Refuge is an evening length dance performance centered on the idea of what a "refuge" is; within in the body, in a life, and in the wilderness. Live dance will overlap with a series of video excerpts of the moving body and outdoor areas, accompanied by a live soundscore. Refuge will explore the inner dialogue about how we "save" ourselves daily, how we become resilient artists, and the refuge of the natural landscape.
