Description:
The Humane Society of Western Montana is hosting the 15th annual Ken Shughart Humanitarian Award and Auction. Tickets are $40 each or $320 for a table of eight. Admission includes dinner and dessert. Silent and live auctions will feature a wide-range of items for every budget.
The live auction will also include the chance to bid on one of seven available pages in the 2013 Humane Society Calendar. The winning bidder will have their pet's portrait painted by Missoula watercolor artist Kendahl Jan Jubb and the image will be used in the 2013 calendar.
Dr. Jani Zirbel of Animal Blessings Pet hospital in Missoula will be honored with the Ken Shughart Humanitarian Award - given to an individual that has shown extraordinary initiative to improve the lives of animals in the community.
