First Friday Tastings: Antipasti
Friday, April 3, 5:30 pm, $5 Hors d'oeuvres, tapas, meze - no matter how you say it, it's all Antipasti. These "before the meal" appetizers often include marinated, pickled and cured vegetables, fruits and beans. April's First Friday Tasting will be all about the endless variety of quick vegetable snacks and light meals that characterize antipasti. GFS Cheese Buyer Jennie Gregory will walk you through the store's antipasti bar and GFS Cooking School Manager Emily Walter will demonstrate a few quick, flavorful recipes you can prepare at home with items you select from the antipasti bar. Our beer & wine department will send someone by to give you some recommendations for beer and wine pairings too.
