Thanks to students' hard work the past few months, the Montana Legislature returned $11.6 million to the Montana University System cut that was originally $23.1 million dollars . This is a big win, but the battle isn't over. We are still $11.8 million away from getting back to flat funding. We need to remind the Legislature that $11 million is still far too big a cut for us to afford.
We'll be gathering on the UM Oval at 12pm to send a clear message to our legislators: "Courage, Not Cuts!"
