Building Refuge for Wildlife and Ourselves
6:00 PM (America/Denver)
Dickinson Lifelong Learning Center
Description:
Interested in helping the wildlife in your backyard flourish, and connecting the people of Missoula through a web of wildlife refuges? Come learn about and join the National Wildlife Federation's volunteer Habitat Steward Team and why native plants, the birds and the bees, and the soil that keeps us grounded matter for animals and ourselves. You'll learn what it means to be a naturalist, how to garden for wildlife, and what you can do to help. This class is suitable for people of all backgrounds and skill levels and will include 3 field trip days, including a hands-on project where you will be able to put your new knowledge and skills to work.
