4th Annual Prune the Moon Description:
Join us Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a day of apple tree pruning at the Moon-Randolph Homestead. Help us take care of century old apple trees first planted in 1889 by Ray Moon.

Experienced pruners are encouraged to attend. Or, come and learn the art of tree pruning with ecologist, forester, and soil scientist, Mark Van der Meer of Bad Goat Forest Products and Watershed Consulting.

To all the arborists out there, bring pruning tools, climbing gear, hard hat, eye and ear protection, gloves, small chainsaws, orchard ladders, disinfectant, loppers, hand saws, pole saws, etc.

We will have tools available for the empty-handed.

Coffee, lunch, and cider provided.

Please, no dogs or unattended children.
