To commemorate the closing of the McKibbin exhibit, the artist Bobbie McKibbin has agreed to do one final public demonstration of her craft. Radius Gallery exhibition over 40 pastel masterpieces of this artists since mid-January has drawn over 500 visitors. McKibbin is one of the finest pastel artists in the country and her work has been acquired by the Smithsonian institute as part of the American Art museum collections in Washington DC. Rarely do Missoulians get to see this caliber of artist actually demonstrate craft.

The demonstration will begin with the artist presenting a scene she has near completed. Then McKibbin will begin the same work again so audience can get a sense of the process and challenges of the medium of pastel. As she draws, McKibbin chats with the audience what she's doing and why (and she also usually tells a lot of charming stories).
