The Academic WorldQuest (AWQ) Competition is an international trivial competition for high school students, in which students answer ten categories of questions covering important issues such as the Middle East, U.S. energy policy, and U.S. economic competitiveness. Students compete for the chance to represent Montana at the National Academic WorldQuest Competition in Washington, D.C. This year, nearly 60 teams will travel from across the state, making this the largest competition in Council history, and the third largest AWQ Competition in the nation!

Global Connections is the full day event accompanying AWQ, providing activities for the high school students to engage in the international resources that Missoula has to offer.
